In this video, Damon from Acoustic Solutions Store demonstrates how we significantly reduced the echo in Margin Media’s office space in Brisbane by installing acoustic materials.
The Challenge
Our clients at Margin Media had an open-plan office space that was echoey, noisy and disruptive. They had no privacy for meetings with clients or phone and video calls, as the noise would travel throughout the space. Their boardroom was also echoey, making it difficult to communicate with the team during meetings.
They needed an acoustic solution.
The Solution
After an acoustic appraisal, we recommended three of our favourite Autex products to transform their space.
We installed Autex Cascade hanging screens for improved privacy, branded with their logo, Autex Quietspace ceiling tiles with a subtle pattern and timber-printed Autex Cube panels in the boardroom and entryway as well as a laser-printed Autex Cube tile with their logo.
The Results
We saw an improvement in the reverberation time (RT) of their office from 2.5 seconds to meet the standard of 0.4 seconds.
Their staff found it much easier to have conversations and communicate clearly in both video and face-to-face meetings. They also enjoy the enhanced privacy and concentration that the Cascade hanging screens provide not to mention the improved aesthetics as well!
